JoyTODDLERS
We work with 2-PreK 5 year old children on Sundays. In Joy TODDLERS, we seek God together through active play, crafts, and worship. We love working with Joy TODDLERS children because they are getting just big enough to understand the Gospel! It's awesome to be used by God in this way. We're looking for dedicated volunteer teachers who can cultivate their foundations to help them grow strong in the Lord!
JoyKIDS
We work with Kindergarten to 5th grade. This is a crucial time for a child's faith when they explore, question, and grow deeper in their understanding and knowledge of God. As faithful teachers, you get to witness this firsthand! Take part in this process through small group time and relationship building with the children throughout the school year. Be a part of the Joy KIDS Volunteer Team!
RESPONSIBILITIES & COMMITMENT
VOLUNTEER TEACHERS
To love, care & teach our children every Sunday.
To notify Head Teacher for absences in advance.
To arrive 30 minutes before service to pray and prep together with head teacher and other volunteer teachers.
To attend own worship service in addition to attending children’s worship.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
To be available to substitute for absent volunteer teachers.
To carry out Volunteer Teacher duties when substituting.
CHECK-IN HELPERS
To arrive 20 minutes before service to check in children.
To oversee children while the head teacher and volunteer teachers are meeting and praying.
Commitment will depend on the number of helper sign up.
