What makes Joy special isn’t the building, it’s how God moves among His people. We’ve seen Him draw hearts, renew faith, and bring new life. But as our church family grows, the spaces that once served us well are now full. So the question becomes: if God keeps bringing more people, will we be ready to receive them?
The Joy+ Movement is our step of faith—to prepare a home for Joy and a heart for the +One. As you explore the stories on this page, you’ll see how God is already at work—changing lives, one person at a time.

Why Now?
God is expanding our Joy Church family, and our current spaces can no longer hold what He’s doing. The Joy+ Movement allows us to make room for the people He’s bringing next. This is not just about laying down bricks—we’re building opportunities for people to encounter the love and presence of Jesus.
Here’s what we’re envisioning:
Worship That Welcomes Everyone
Our sanctuary currently overflows—often forcing standing room and limited space to worship as a family. An expanded worship space will make room for growing families to sit side‑by‑side as well as welcome all of our +Ones to worship freely together.Rooms Where Faith Takes Root
At Joy, we encounter Jesus through shared Scripture, prayer, and real relationships—core to our DNA. Flexible rooms provide dedicated spaces for our community to gather for group meetings, prayer, counseling, and training to grow deeper in our knowledge of God together.A True Home for the Next Generation
Our kids and youth are outgrowing us—literally. We’re looking to create purpose-built areas where the next generation can meet Jesus through story, worship, and belonging.Multi-Purpose Places Where Community Deepens
Transformation happens in community. We believe open, multi-purpose areas will provide important opportunities to engage in fellowship—more impactful outreach, meals and fellowship—to ultimately show Jesus’s love to our community.Welcome That Flows Seamlessly
The reality is our parking limitations are not the best first impression. Our congregation struggles with parking so you can only imagine the experience of newcomers. We need a convenient and safe experience to ensure every person feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive.
How You Can Be Part of Our Joy+ Movement
This is a season for our faith to be stretched in a healthy, God-directed way. As we pray, listen, and obey together, we believe God will do more than we could ask or imagine—both in us and through us as we follow Him together.
We invite everyone who calls Joy Church home to join us in three meaningful ways.
Commit to Prayer
Please commit to prayer during this season. We are embarking on a spiritual journey and want to seek God’s guidance every step of the way.
Commit to Your +One
Jesus often moved toward the one—the one who was overlooked, searching, or far from God. In the same way, we believe He is inviting each of us to love one specific person toward Him.
Who is your +One? A friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member who isn’t yet walking with Jesus. Commit to:
Pray for them by name.
Love them consistently.
Invite them into community and conversations about Jesus.
Commit Financially
We’re trusting God to raise $5 million over three years to renew and rebuild ministry spaces that will shape the next generation and reach your +One.
This vision will take faith and sacrifice. If God has placed a number on your heart - but it’s not yet in your hands, this pledge lets you walk it out by faith. Your gift—whatever the amount—matters. We are trusting God will honor our hearts and move in ways we can never imagine.
