Personal Statement/Bible Verse:
“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” Psalm 27: 4
Psalm 27 has been my life verses.
Life can be difficult at times, but no matter how hard it may be at times, if I can get myself in that place where it’s just Him and me—if I can just sit awhile at His table with Him to simply gaze upon His Beauty—then when I emerge from that place, everything else—all of life’s chaos—settles into its proper place as mere backdrop. They are no longer in the foreground but in the background and I am better able to focus on what
is most important in the bigger picture. As a result, all of life appears balanced and becomes a reflection of His Beauty.
